Welcome Volunteers!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2019 U.S. Open Championship! Due to the overwhelming response to our volunteer program, all volunteer committees are currently on a waitlist.
If you would like to join the volunteer waitlist, contact the Championship Office at 2019usopen@usga.org or complete the waitlist application below. Please note that if you opt to join the waitlist you will NOT be guaranteed a position in our volunteer program. No payment for the volunteer package is required for submitting a waitlist application. Thank you!
Pebble Beach Golf Links will host the 119th U.S. Open Championship from June 10-16, 2019. Approximately 4,500 dedicated individuals will comprise the Volunteer Program for the 2019 U.S. Open! It is our goal to provide each volunteer with a unique and exciting experience during the championship. For any questions, please contact us at 2019usopen@usga.org.
2019 U.S. Open Volunteer Program Fast Facts:
Time Commitment
All volunteers for the 2019 U.S. Open Championship will volunteer for a minimum of four (4) shifts with each shift lasting between five (5) to six (6) hours. Volunteers will not be paid wages or compensated in any other manner in exchange for their volunteer activities.
Cost
Volunteers will be required to purchase the Volunteer Package for $185.
Volunteer Package
Volunteers will receive a credential valid for all seven (7) days of the championship, a meal voucher for each assigned shift, access to Volunteer Hospitality, two (2) golf shirts, a wind jacket and a piece of headwear, provided by Ralph Lauren.
Committee Assignment
Approximately 20 committees will comprise the Volunteer Program at the 2019 U.S. Open Championship. Committee assignments will be communicated in August, 2018. Please note, volunteers may be subject to a criminal history background check and/or a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check based on committee assignment.
Application
Volunteer opportunities are largely granted on a first-come, first-served basis. The Championship Office will notify you if you have been selected as a volunteer. You can fill out the application online by clicking the link below OR you can download the application from the Volunteer Resources tab, complete the form in its entirety and return it to the attention of 2019 U.S Open Championship Office, P.O. Box 2019, Pebble Beach, CA 93953.
